Mince Kebabs

INGREDIENTS

500 gms lean beef mince
2 onions, grated
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp chopped mint


 

METHOD

Combine mince with the other ingredients. Mix it well with your hand until the mixture becomes smooth. It is important that there should be  no lumps. Make small balls of the mixture and pat them into sausage shapes around some skewers. If possible, use four-sided metal skewers. Grill over coal. Alternatively, you can rest the ends of the skewers over the edges of a roasting pan so that the meat does not touch the pan. Keep turning the skewers to cook the meat until it gets an even brown colour.
