Saffron Rice

INGREDIENTS 50 gms onions, sliced

METHOD In a pan, heat the oil and fry the onions, cardamoms, cloves, cumin and coriander. After a while, add the ginger-garlic paste and fry till the mixture turns brown. Add the vegetables, soaked rice, salt and saffron and fry. Add boiling hot water till it is half an inch above the rice level. Cook until done. |
